I purchased this scanner to scan 35 mm negatives and convert them to jpeg. The color conversion from negative to positive is almost flawless. It does take about 25 minutes to scan one strip of negatives at 2500 dpi–but if you are willing to take the time, the results are worth it. The software is limited: the dust removal works well, but there is no way to turn pictures without using another program. Combining this with Photoshop makes a virtually professional-grade photo processing studio. I wanted a scanner specifically for digitalizing old photos. After scouring the internet for reviews of different products I ordered this and couldn’t be happier! Aside from the high quality output (I haven’t seen any need to further enhance the photos, even though the software is included) I’m thoroughly impressed that I can just place 1-6 photos anywhere on the scanner and it scans them up as individual photos perfectly aligned, etc. I am undertaking a project to scan every photo, slide, negative etc. that we have amassed over the last thirty or so years. My wife has color slides from the 60′s, and we have a lot of negatives that we don’t even know if we have the pictures to any longer. I expect it to take a year to get everything scanned, and who knows how long after that to get it organized.
The software is really very easy to use. I have played around with the settings and came up with ones that are getting me good results. I have been scanning three pictures at a time, which in itself is very nice and a great time saver. I love how you don’t have to put stuff in the corner (origin) but just place anywhere on the scanner and it finds it.

My first winter boots!! After much deliberation I narrowed it down to get the Sorel Snow Angel winter boots and I was very impressed. Love it, my feet were warm and toasty in Alberta, Canada. Now my husband want to get a pair from this company. These boots keep my feet so warm and are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! I bought them to wear on a ski trip and instead wear them almost everyday and for everything! They are so great! My duties at the cemetery can place me in all sorts of weather. For the cold, cruel outdoor winter weather, I have found these boots, so far, to be wonderful. These boots claim to be rated to -25 F. I can’t scientifically verify any claims, but I can say, from my experience so far, that they certainly have kept my feet warm and dry through the abuse I’ve subjected them to.
One morning last week, when we started the day at 9am, it was 18 degrees out. By noon it had warmed to about 25 degrees. We spent the larger portion of our time outdoors, and my feet remained warm right up till lunchtime.
Do I have any complaints about these? Only something small. At times they can feel bit “clunky”. They don’t really look that way, but can feel bit bulky on the foot. But hey, they’re winter boots, it’s to be expected if you want warmth.

The delivery carrier that broke the first one, called to tell us that the Schwinn 431 eliptical that we ordered will arrive in their warehouse on such date and they’ll call back when it does to set a delivery appointment. He left the message on the home phone describing the item in detail, that I bought as a gift for my wife and marked as such on the order.
When they broke the first one and reported it to Amazon, Amazon sent me an email wanting to know if I wanted a refund or another one. I selected another one. I got an email two days later demanding that I return the broken one or my credit card would be billed for it. Of course I never had it to return and replied to the email as such. I have now ordered and received one eliptical but paid for two. I suppose it will work out in the end but not a good experience. I paid for the first one with gift cards that I purchased at the supermarket on a promotion for the gas discount points. I’d return it and cancel my Amazon account except that I’d just get Amazon credit and be stuck buying more stuff from Amazon. Assembly direction were complete and easy to follow. Two hours from start to finish. This model is very smooth and stable. We had a bowflex tread climber prior to the Schwinn. The Schwinn 431 has it all over the Bowflex for a complete workout. I highly recommend this product. I’ve had this machine for almost 4 years and used it regularly. I love that it has so many different programs so that anyone can have a personalized workout that fits their own fitness level. It’s super quiet and has very fluid movement. It’s holding up very well. I only had one issue with the speed sensor failing but the manufacturer sent the part quickly and it was not hard to replace. I highly recommend this machine!

BEARPAW Women’s Eva 12″ Shearling Boot,Black,10 M US…great boot…my daughter loves them there’s lots of snow and these work great at a fraction of the price….she has several colors.I love these boots! They are very comfortable. I have worn them a lot already and they still look brand new. Great boots. They keep my feet nice and snug. I dont understand why people rave about Uggs, Bearpaws are sooo much better. Uggs don’t last and look so raggedy in such a short while, I’ve had my Bearpaws for 2 years and they still look new. Just make sure you spray with water protector! Got these superrrrrrr duper fast btw.

Even though I got this for $200 off the regular price on an Amazon Gold Box deal, I still feel cheated. Several years ago I bought a $1500 Bowflex system, but I sold it for half what I paid. I sold my house and had to put things into storage. So when I saw this PR3000 on sale, I bought it. It does take up a lot less space compared to my old system. My original system looked a lot like the Bowflex PR1000, which is only $450 now. I really wish I had purchased the PR1000 in hindsight. First of all, it is half the price of the PR3000. And furthermore, it allows a lot more exercises. The PR3000 is very limited in comparison. The only advantage I can see for the PR3000 is the floor space it requires. From a materials standpoint, the PR3000 should cost less than the PR1000. So why is it double priced? Profit – lots of profit.
